Air-cooled 1940 nm thulium fiber laser for medical laser systems
Futonics has developed a new air-cooled thulium fiber laser specifically for integration into medical laser systems.
With up to 1200 W peak power in QCW operation and 120 W CW output power, the laser provides a compact and reliable platform for applications requiring controlled energy delivery, high pulse stability, and efficient system integration.
The 1940 nm wavelength is close to the absorption maximum of water, making the laser particularly suitable for medical applications involving water-rich tissue.
