COLLIMATORS
Fiber optic cables enable flexible and precise transmission of laser radiation to the desired point of use. To make optimum use of the available laser power, efficient coupling into and out of the fiber as well as exact beam collimation are essential.
Futonics offers compact, adjustable fiber collimators for 2 µm laser applications. Suitable infrared materials help reduce optical losses and support high beam quality. The well-designed construction enables easy integration into optical systems, laboratory setups and industrial applications.
In addition, Futonics develops and manufactures its own fiber connectors with a special anti-reflection coating. They are designed for laser powers up to 200 W and help minimize reflections and power losses.
