1200 W QCW / 120 W CW Air-Cooled Thulium Fiber Laser
The 1200 W QCW Air-Cooled Thulium Fiber Laser from Futonics is a pulsed 2 µm fiber laser system designed specifically for medical integration. It provides up to 1200 W pulse power, up to 120 W average output power and pulse energies of up to 10 J. Flexible pulse shaping enables application-specific energy delivery for high-pulse-energy medical applications such as lithotripsy, as well as integration into OEM medical devices.

Futonics’ thulium fiber laser platform is based on single-mode laser oscillators with precise wavelength stabilization using Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) technology. This architecture enables stable emission characteristics, high beam quality and reproducible process results over long operating periods.
The system is designed for demanding applications that require high pulse energy, flexible pulse profiles and precise energy delivery in the 2 µm wavelength range. Its QCW architecture enables application-specific pulse shaping for processes where controlled energy deposition and reproducible pulse characteristics are critical.
